Hiii friends.......Today i am going to tell you a simple commad by which you may know who has used your PC in your absence.

Follow these steps:

1. go to START
2. click on RUN
3. type the following command
    eventvwr.msc

Events are stored in three log files: Application, Security, and System.

These logs can be reviewed and archived.

For our purposes we want the System log.
Click on "System" in the left-hand column for a list of events.

Look for a date and time when you weren't home and your computer should have been off.

double click on the eg: info n it will show u the detail.

You can also use this log to see how long someone was on the computer.

Just look at the time the computer was turned on and off for that day.

Use your Pen Drive as master key to your PC/Laptop

Hello everybody! I am here again with a nice trick for securing your Laptop or PC from unauthorized access. Friends Window stores its password in a file which is used by it at startup. We can store that file in our pen drive and use it at the time of startup to open windows.

 Follow the steps...

• Go to Run
• Type “syskey” without quotes.
•  Click on Update.

        You can select:

         Password Startup: If selected, It will ask password while starting windows

         System Generated Password: System will automatically generate a password. 

         Window will use it to     get started automatically if stored locally.

•      Our motto is to open through pen drive. So click on “Store Startup Key on Floppy Disk”.
•      Give the password which you want to give.
•      Click on OK

 Attention!!!

The pen drive in which you have saved this file will be always required to start the system.

How To Hide Partitions Without Using Any Software

Hello friends.............I am going to tell you a simle  trick to hide any partition of your hard disk on your computer. Some times we need to hide our confidential and private data form others.Although there are many software in market to hide partition but I am telling you two easy methods to hide partitions without using any software.

Hide Partitions Using Command Prompt

•  Open command prompt .
• Type Diskpart and press Enter.
•  In the console type List volume to see all the drives present in your computer.
•  Now select the drive which you want to hide.
• Note: Here I am showing how to hide D drive.
•  In My Computer it is volume 2 for drive D .
•  Now to hide drive D type Select volume 2 .
•  Then type remove letter d , this will hide your drive.
•  Now to unhide your drive  type Select volume 2 and then type assign letter d 

Hide Partitions Using Computer Management

•  Right click My Computer.
•  Click Manage .
•  This will open Computer Management.
•  Under Storage, select Disk Management.
•  Right click on the drive which you wish to hide.
•  Select Change drive letters and paths...
•  Click Remove
•  Now can find your partition will be hidden.
• To get back the partition Computer Management<Select drive< Change drive      letters and paths
•  Now select Add option.
•  In that Assign the following drive letter.
•  Select ok.

How to Display Windows Version on Desktop

I am narrating a quick trick to show windows version in your windows platform.I tested this registry hack in Windows Xp, Vista and Windows 7..............it works............. 

Steps to show windows version on Desktop

•  Goto Start –> Run (Windows Key + R)

•  Type Regedit and hit Enter.

•  In Registry editor, navigate to this key:

           HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop

•  Select “Desktop” in left pane and search for “PaintDesktopVersion” in right pane and double-click it.

•  A dialog will pop-up, change the “Value Data” field from 0 to 1.

•  Restart the Windows you will find Windows version printed on the desktop.

BLOCK SITES on Computer without any SOFTWARE

Normally we use software to block sites on our computer. But we can do this without any software. software. This can be done by using NotePad only.This trick will work on Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7.

• Type C:/windows/system32/drivers/etc/hosts

• Hit enter

• Open the file as Notepad

• Type 127.0.0.1 www.yoursitedomain.com below 127.0.0.1 local host

• Save it.
